This doesn't get addressed until waaay later in the story, but hellbeasts actually all speak Latin mainly (Many of em know English, but they wouldn't speak it to each other in the pit, it's for traveling on...vacations....) So lil Tim here doesn't really know what Hadrian's getting at at all XD

Homeboy is way too calm and collected for a three-year-old who’s surrounded by hellbeasts. Now, don’t get me wrong, that’s not some snobby critique, I love the comic already, but I’m also sure, that that kid is the reincarnation of the baddest bitch ever. He is an absolute cutie tho, I love him.
