Well, the concepts “innocence” and “guilt” (or even “sin”) do imply some kind of conscience or awareness of morals. Wild (vicious!) animals do a lot of the things you mentioned, but still we would not call them “sinners”. They are still innocent creatures because they don’t do what they do out of spite, but because it’s in their nature to do them, and because they don’t have the capacity to reflect on their own behaviour. It’s possible to be vicious and innocent at the same time.
